Thanks to the Elysian Winds and the cold Canary Current, the island of Tenerife maintains mild spring temperatures, with an annual average of 23 degrees centigrade and some 350 days of sunshine.

Playa de las Américas in the south of the island of Tenerife, where the Hotel Gala is situated, has a highly consistent climate all year round, in which the sun is the undisputed king of the sky. The temperature of the Atlantic Ocean here varies between 18 degrees in January and 23 in June.
